Immersed in a landscape dominated by Etna and characterized by vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees, Casa Arrigo was born in what, in the first half of the last century, was the structure that housed the manor house and the houses of the farmers who worked the lands family’s. Built from a farmhouse dating back to 1865, initially used as a wine cellar for the production of wine and subsequently used as a country house, Casa Arrigo has been an accommodation since 2000 and it has six independent rooms, a tasting room, a welcoming outdoor gazebo with barbecue, garden and swimming pool.

Lava stone, terracotta and walls made of cocciopesto with a typical brick red colour that recalls the rural architecture of the area are the typical elements of the Etna tradition that characterize both the rooms, with evocative names and different from each other, and the common spaces.
Among the latter, the terrace around the swimming pool, where you can enjoy the view of the volcano while sipping a drink, and the tasting room, characterized by large windows overlooking the vineyard and Etna, which has an open kitchen with oven wood to offer a 360° food and wine experience with products such as the extra virgin olive oil from Nocellara dell’Etna and the Etna Bianco and Etna Rosso DOC wines from organic farming, all from the family farm.
Strongly tied to an entrepreneurial thinking based on sustainability, the country house feeds itself thanks to the production of clean energy obtained through the use of photovoltaic panels.
Attention to the environment continues through the separation of waste and the reuse of composting as fertilizer for the fields, up to the sterilization of the water in the outdoor swimming pool which takes place using salt instead of chlorine.
